Artist Statement
The sculpture strongly arouses various mysterious associations, guiding people into an unknown state of mysticism, legends, or variations. The artist intends to explore the ultimate significance of “distortion”/ “weirdness” through expressing the spiritual panic, impacts of unknown energy on man’s mind, and interlaced objective beings. The grotesque and gaudy appearance of the work is exactly derived from the artist’s deep investigation on the distorted spiritual state of contemporary people.
