Founded by former headhunter and celebrity personality Alison Chang (also known as “Son Jeh”), SON Approved recreates family recipes geared for those with authentic Cantonese tastes. A food connoisseur herself, Chang’s jump into the food industry began when people started placing orders for her homemade taro cakes. Now, with a selection of western desserts (think Basque burnt cheesecakes and crispy chocolate cakes), traditional Chinese puddings; a variety of ready-to-eat products such as marinated abalone and ginger pork knuckle stew; and health-focused products, SON Approved has become synonymous with the pursuit of perfection, persistence and personality bringing quality foods and ingredients to family tables across Hong Kong.
