Undoubtedly one of Japan’s most recognisable cultural icons, Mobile Suit Gundam has gained a loyal following since its release in 1979, with innumerable collectable goods, figures, and merchandise celebrating the successful series. At the forefront of creating Gundam inspired goods, STRICT-G’s exclusive fashion items have rarely been available outside of its flagship store in Odaiba, Tokyo.
Blasting out of Japan for this international launch, STRICT-G lands at K11 Art Mall with its black and white inspired pop-up! A concept store dedicated to the mechanical battle giant, STRICT-G’s international fashion collaborations such as with Los Angeles utilitarian brand M.I.S., French sneaker brand PATRICK, and Japanese bagsmith PORTER are now close at hand and available to fans in Hong Kong!
Exclusive to this pop-up is the original t-shirt featuring the RX-7-2 Gundam and Char’s ZAKU II (only 180 worldwide!), presented in a bright neon design as a tribute to our city’s glowing nightscape. Also present and on full display in its jet-black glory is the “STRICT-G × mastermind JAPAN" 1.5-meter-high Zaku II figure.
Fans of Gundam can catch the limited time pop-up at K11 Art Mall’s B2/F to grab a selection of exclusive and Hong-Kong only goods, and don’t forget to snap a photo with the ZAKU II on your way out!

Online Eco-leadership Programme
Do you know how many insect species live in Hong Kong? 10,000, 20,000 or 30,000? No one knows the exact number, but for sure, they exceed any other groups of animals or plants in terms of diversity. Another certainty is the paramount role that insects play in the functioning and health of ecosystems, even if these roles are often underappreciated or even misunderstood by most people.
Nature Discovery Park and the School of Biological Sciences of The University of Hong Kong co-developed the online eco-leadership programme, which aims to introduce the ecological importance of biodiversity and participants will learn about the direct resources insects provide to human, as well as the influence they have in science and art.

Part 2: Service-oriented little insects – why not!

Part 2: Insects have superhero capabilities too, what would they be?
There’s nothing quite as refreshing as a crisp, ice-cold beer on a hot summer’s day. K11 Art Mall serves up a delicate taste of the French summer way of life with premium beer at the ‘Taste of Bleu’ pop-up with Kronenbourg 1664 and celebrity Le Cordon Bleu pastry chef Amanda S.
Inspired by French boutiques and accented with blue and white tones reminiscent of the French riviera, the ‘Taste of Bleu’ pop-up features numerous art installations that will whisk you away to a French summer — perfect for an Instagram moment.
The pop-up offers two signature 1664 beers, including the 1664 Blanc and 1664 Lager, named after the year the Hatt family, the founders of Kronenbourg, first started brewing their beer. The premium beer is renowned for its golden hues and delicate bitterness, which comes from selecting the best hops — the Strisselspalt — named by master brewers around the world as the “caviar of hops” for its rich aroma and rareness.
Enjoy the delicious beers with specially crafted bites by celebrity Le Cordon Bleu pastry chef Amanda S. Designed to pair perfectly with the crisp and floral taste of the beers are Foie Gras Macarons (HK$60/2 pcs), featuring striking blue meringue shells filled with foie gras mousse for a sweet and savoury balance; and buttery Kouglof bread with Rum Raisin and Almond (HK$60/each) — a traditional Viennese treat from the Alsace region.
